Kristi graduated from OSU in 2005 with a bachelor’s degree in business management and a minor in marketing. She is our practice manager and began working here 2006. She has two rescued dogs, a pit bull mix named Ava and a boxer mix named Dora. She also has a very feisty cat named Mia. In her free time, Kristi enjoys reading, hiking, and taking her two dogs for long walks outside.
Misti is our Client Care Coordinator. She is involved with all aspects of the hospital to ensure clients receive the best customer service possible. She started working here in April of 2005 after moving from her home town of Mineola, Texas. She loves chihuahua’s and has one of her own named Gracie. She also has a Maltese mix named Mellie and a Cavalier mix named Quimby. Misti loves everything Texas, including the Texas Longhorns, but we don’t hold that against her:) Her hobbies include crocheting, cooking, and reading.
Lydia, R.V.T, has worked at Care Animal Hospital since May 2010. She began working here as an intern for the veterinary technician program at Tulsa Community College, then after completing her internship we hired her on as a technician at Care Animal Hospital. Lydia graduated from TCC in May, 2011 with an Associates in Applied Science and Veterinary Technology. In her free time Lydia enjoys working out at the gym, crossfit, hiking, and skiing. Currently Lydia has three dogs, a Great Dane mix rescued from the shelter named Bex, a rescued Pit Bull named Dubs, and an American Bully named Gus.
Nancy, R.V.T, began working at Care Animal Hospital in May 2012 after graduating from the TCC veterinary technician program with an Associates in Applied Science and Veterinary Technology. Nancy enjoys horseback riding, spending time outdoors, and singing. She has a mixed breed dog named Jax and a border collie mix named Sydney. Nancy also has two cats, Mr. McFluffmuffin and Wesa. Nancy and her husband have one child, a son named John Robert.
Brandy Rose, RVT, is originally from Oregon, but lived in California for several years while she attended college at Western Career College. She earned her associates degree in Science in 1998. After graduation she moved to Reno, Nevada where she worked at a veterinary hospital specializing in dentistry and developed her skills in dentistry and anesthesia. She is currently specialized in veterinary anesthesia and moving towards specializing in veterinary ultrasound as well. Brandy moved to Oklahoma in 2011 and began working at Care Animal Hospital in February of 2016. Brandy loves Oklahoma and particularly loves our famous thunder storms! She has two dogs, “Johnny” a 5 year old labradoodle and “Shelly” a Labrador pit bull mix who is a huge cuddler! She also has love bird named “Peaches”. In her free time Brandy enjoys watching the Oklahoma City Thunder, OU, and the NFL games with her boyfriend. She also loves taking her dogs on long runs outside.
Karen has been with Care Animal Hospital since early 2016. She graduated from Oklahoma State University in 2005 with a bachelor’s degree in English Education. After graduation Karen decided she wanted to follow her love for animals and work in veterinary medicine. She began working at a feline only veterinary hospital in late 2005, but ultimately missed working with dogs too much and started working at a small animal practice servicing both dogs and cats a few years later. Karen still maintains a special interest in feline medicine and even helped Care Animal Hospital become “Certified Cat Friendly”. Karen has four dogs, a dachshund named Sabrina, a mix named Sasha and two border collie mixes named River and Archer. She also has two cats, Katniss and Andy. Last, but not least, she also has a mini pig named Dave. In her free time Karen enjoys spending time with her husband, readying, traveling, and going to concerts as often as possible.
Robert is our morning technician assistant and has worked at Care Animal Hospital since 2009. He loves working with animals and you can frequently see him playing with various pets outside the clinic in the play yard. Robert has two dogs, a Lhasa Apso named Casey (pictured here) and a Chihuahua mix named Tyson. In his free time, Robert enjoys spending his days outside camping, hiking, or doing any outdoor activities.
Casey began working at Care Animal Hospital in May of 2013, she works Monday-Friday and every other Saturday. Casey loves both dogs and cats, she has an american bulldog named Kamia and two rescue cats named Leo and Tanner. Casey loves fishing and four wheeling, she also has three human kids and in her free time she enjoys spending time with them:)
Michelle is our newest receptionist! She has worked in the veterinary field for over 6 years and began working at Care Animal Hospital in April 2017. Michelle loves animals and has 4 of her own. She has captain a terrier mix and Minnie a poodle mix who she adopted from us! She also has two cats, Jinx and Chandler. In her free time Michelle loves spending time with her husband of 15 years and their two kids, Cyeli and Logan. She also enjoys reading and taking road trips in her Jeep.
Kayla is our afternoon kennel technician. She started here in June 2013 and loves all things animals! In her free time Kayla enjoys anything science related, camping, art, and reading. She is currently taking classes at TCC and hopes to study Archeology! Kayla has two rescue cats named Dingus and Navi and a boxer mix named Darwin.
Brittany is our morning kennel technician. She started working here in April 2015 while she attended Rhema Bible College. She recently graduated from Rhema and hopes to pursue ministry full time in the near future. In her free time Brittany enjoys playing basketball, bible study, working out, and spending time with her husband and friends.
Cat started working with animals as soon as she was old enough to get a job. She is passionate about patient care and loves all animals big and small. She began working with animals in kennels when she was 16 and now splits her time at Care Animal Hospital as both a kennel technician and a technician assistant. She plans to attend Tulsa Community College in the future; we are hopeful she will attend the veterinary technology program! In her free time, Cat loves to go horseback riding and read.
