
Dr. Tisha Posey
Our newest member, Dr. Tisha Posey
graduated from Oklahoma State University in 2008 with a
doctorate in Veterinary medicine. She began working in the
veterinary field over 10 years ago as a technician and after
graduating from OSU began practicing at a small animal hospital
in Oregon before moving back to Oklahoma. During school Dr.
Posey was the recipient of several awards, including the Alice
Levin Endowment and the Schering Plough Health Scholarship. She
also participated in the National Institute of Health’s
competitive summer research program where she studied lung
cellular biology. Funded by the Morris Animal Foundation, Dr.
Posey also wrote and published a paper on changes in lung cells.
Dr. Posey is committed to excellent patient care, animal
welfare, and client education. A few of her special interests
include diagnostics, surgery, working with the public and
clinical pathology. Some of her many pets include four adorable
cats and two very sweet dogs.
