Dr. Dennis Henson

... graduated from Oklahoma State University with a doctorate in Veterinary Medicine in 1975. He has worked as chief surgeon at VCA Woodland Central for 26 years before coming to Care Animal Hospital in 2008. Dr. Henson has a special interest in surgery and continues to build his practice with both soft tissue surgeries such as spays and neuters and more complicated orthopedic procedures such as fracture, ACL, and Luxating Patella repairs. Some specific areas of interests include orthopedic surgery, lameness evaluations, PennHIP certified, OFA and Elbow radiography, reproductive evaluation and treatments, and general medicine. As chief surgeon at Care Animal Hospital, Dr. Henson has continued to expand his surgical skills and knowledge and is able to offer clients the best surgical and/or non-surgical treatment possible.
